Tucson Police Department, please be advised: Planning to show up in full Riot/Military gear after the #UAvsORE is the wrong move. Your presence after the last huge games have been very appropriate and has helped tremendously to keep things from escalating. Please do not let the recent events between police and citizens fuel your game plan tonight. Citizens, specifically students, are very aware of what is going on with head strong police and they do not approve. #TPD please choose your actions carefully tonight. An upset or excited crowd will only grow exponentially more upset or excited if confronted with a force. Elementary Psychological Behavior. On a side note, why dont police officers have to participate in continuing education like our teachers, medical personnel, skilled trades workers, etc.? They dont know the law.
