Tuesday 18th DON’T QUIT YOUR DREAM Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV) In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus talks about the seed carrier. Though the first three places he dropped his seed did not yield any fruit, the last place he dropped his seed paid off. His first profit was 100% of his initial deposit. . Matthew 13:3-9 What if he gave up sowing before reaching the good ground? Your gift (talent) is a seed, so is your vision and your dream. It may not make sense to people around, but you must sow (show, share) it wherever you are. Don’t hide it and don’t despise it. Give it out! Jesus Christ was not accepted in many places, but He did not quit preaching, teaching and healing people. Even though Judas Iscariot betrayed Him and Peter denied Him, He did not run away from the cross. He knew His purpose and was determined to fulfill it. Scripture says: Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 You may have experienced many disappointments, don’t quit your dream. People may say you are hallucinating, don’t give up your vision. Perhaps you have been used and dumped, don’t bury your gift. If you don’t quit now, you will soon get to the good ground. Because Jesus did not quit, God empowered His name: Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God, the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 Don’t quit your dream. You are on your way to the good ground. Todays Memory Verse: And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) PRAYER POINT: Open my eyes Lord to see life in the seed I am bearing. Teach me perseverance. Lead me to the good ground where my seed will bear more fruit. Give me grace to hold on to my dream.
