Tuesday #2 :A little about doTERRAs oils! In the Spring of 2008, Emily Wright, David Hill, and David Stirling formed what is doTERRA. Each were looking for a company that distributed Essential Oils in its most pure form to the public. While there are and were other oil companies that do manufacture oils to the CPTG standard, they did not and still do not distribute them to the public because of the expense, and rigorous process it takes to distribute that grade of oil. Our founders decided that it was time that something like that was on the market.They wanted to make sure that doTERRA started off right. So, instead of allowing another company to come in, help with financial costs yet have say in the quality the oils would be, they mortgaged their homes to gain the funds to start and also keep the say in their own hands. They started by sourcing only a few oils to begin with and then distributing them to the public by network marketing means. We now have 65 oils in distribution with several more on its way. They also now have other products that have the essential oils in them ranging from vitamins to cleaning supplies. They also are no longer a national company, but a international company with offices in Austraila, Hong Kong, Korea, and other areas throughout the world.doTERRAs oils are guaranteed to beyond organic, which is what the CPTG standard means. There are no synthetics, pesticides, or fillersin the oils. Therefore giving you only 100% pure oil in every bottle. They also make sure to test their oils out of house meaning that they have hired local universities to do their testing for them. If there is one chemical element out of balance in the oil then they send it back immediately!There are three ways to use the oils. Internally, externally, or aromatically. On the label of each bottle, it will tell you how each oil can be used! Also, I caution that doTERRAs oils are the only oils that are safe for internal consumption, if it says so on the bottle. I do not recommend taking oils internally unless they are from doTERRA and they say on the bottle that it is safe.K!
