Tuesday, 2 September 2014 Ref: Clubs for Term 1 Dear Parents/Guardians, Each year we are trying n to improve the extra-curricular clubs and this year, there are some changes for this to happen. Firstly the clubs attached to this letter is for term 1 only. In this, there are some clubs that are ‘selected’ only. This means that the teacher has selected your child for football club, rock band or the Duke of Edinburgh club. If you are not selected then you can’t join these clubs. On each club there is also a limit, so once that limit is reached then no more pupils can join. So it is on a ‘first come first served bases. The clubs are set out in year groups, so only the years groups that are shown, can join. If the club is full then you must choose another club. You must come to the office and select your clubs. If this is not completed by Thursday 4th September 2014, then the school will help you with the choice. I am confident that the clubs this year will be the best we have ever had providing a variety of extra-curricular clubs, outside of the normal curriculum.
