Tuesday 21st January. Finally respite from the restriction from the shoulder happened overnight. Perhaps yesterday the therapy sessions had the required effect. Not before time either dear readers as may be apparent in my previous posts the attitude was not a very good one for me of late. The morning wake up session was not typified with a dull ache in the shoulder and I decided to grab the putter, lob wedge and 7 iron and go for a practise session. 40 balls with the wedge, 30 with the putter, and 20 with the 7 iron to finish. Minimal in fact negligible discomfort and it felt so good to be out hitting golf balls again. Kept a tight reign on the pleasure though and came home and put the clubs away. Tomorrow another light golfing session will be completed in the morning as well. Would love to get out and have a real session and play a few holes but time to put caution into the mix first. The chipping session went okay and was fun Putting soon tuned up and was also great fun. The 7 iron session was a little erratic, to be fair some nerves to begin. Then a gradual improvement and loosening up of the swing before stopping at 20 balls. This is the focus of my practise in coming weeks, hitting greens in regulation. That is my games great weakness and the time has come to stop hedging around the fault and get it right. Thankyou for your time and attention. Hit the ball, Find the ball, Hit the ball.
