Tuesday, 30 December 2014 Israeli Tenth channel on its website today said that Israeli court decided to release Israeli soldier and border guard, Ben Dery, 21, who shot dead child Nadim Nuwara, 17 during Nakba Day, 15 May of this year outside the Ofer prison, Beitunia near Ramallah. A video clip of the shooting in Beitunia showed that Nadim, along with four other youngsters, were shot after the confrontations had already sparked between the occupation soldiers in the area and several Palestinian youths. Other video clips showed that the Israeli forces were dozens of meters away, and Palestinian eyewitnesses said that the troops used live ammunition. The killing of child Nadim Nuwara caused international reactions and condemnations against Israeli crimes. The tenth channel added that the court decided to move the soldier from detain into House arrest. It also said that the soldier recently suffered psychological issues and depression, which were proved by texts sent to his family, asking their forgiveness. The text messages to his parents proved he was involved in the deliberate killing of Nadim. Israeli occupation often sets free the soldiers proven to have killed Palestinians through monitoring cameras, in addition to not holding any of them accountable for their crimes. On the same day, Mohammad Mahmoud Odeh, 16, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the back. Both boys were transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah they were announced dead.
