Tuesday 8th WALKING THE PATH KNOWN ONLY BY A FEW “But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” Acts 7:55-56 (NKJV) Until we are filled with the Holy Spirit we can never know, experience or even have a glimpse of the glory or the awesome majesty of God. Being in the faith for several decades do not and cannot make up for the absence of the Holy Spirit in the life of any believer. Certain manifestations of Gods glory are physical (visible), which includes all kinds of miracles, signs and wonders among men on earth. But beyond these are celestial manifestations which are only seen or known through revelations, inspirations, visions and other means as the Lord deems fit. These are mostly invisible phenomena seen by those whom God has specific assignments for. Though they are difficult to explain, they are nonetheless real and true. While what Stephen saw and declared traumatized his accusers and assailants, he owed them no apology because he was only witnessing Christ to those who should have known Him in the first place. The Scriptures rightly says: “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” Saying that he saw “the heavens opened and the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) standing at the right hand of God” was incomprehensible to his listeners. Especially when they looked up to the sky as he spoke, but saw nothing. Their decision was, Stephen was insane and did not deserve to live. If you are a spirit filled believer, and you are having revelations that are difficult to share with people, especially believers; ask God to simplify those revelations for you so that your generation can benefit from them. Keep asking God to give you the right understanding and words to communicate your inspirations to the world. The visions of the founders of Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, Skype and other twenty-first century visionaries and inventors may have sounded insane to the 19th century generation. However through practical display of what they saw, they command the respect and admiration of those of us in this generation. Do not throw away your vision. Ask God to help you know how to interpret and apply it. You are not out of your mind, you are just treading where only a few privileged people tread. Today’s Memory Verse: “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here. Zechariah 3:7 (NKJV) PRAYER POINT: Give me the abilities O Lord to rightly interpret the vision You have given me. Enable me by the Holy Spirit and those You have sent me to, to understand Your ways in this present dispensation. Teach me how to obey You.
