Tuesday, 9/24/13 Posted 6 hours ago Kaleb remains in critical condition. Brain and lungs remain primary focus of care. He has made some small progress with both movements meaningful with hands and feet---favoring his right side. He remains on a ventialator with trach. The Ventilator is a high powered/high tech machine which is making Kaleb work hard and the machine is also working hard. Each step forward is extremely challenging and exhausting. Rest continues to be of utmost importance between care needs. He is still unable to have visitors. The Jarvis family appreciates your continued prayers. Monday 9/23/13 Posted 1 day ago Kaleb had a surgical procedure today....he received a traciotomy and a gastric tube. Both are safer, more comfortable and common at this stage of recovery. This was a lot of activity for him today and rest is again essential foe Kaleb. He remains in critical condition.
