C = Courage From God “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 Courage is defined as mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear or difficulty. Did you know that you’ve already lost the battle if you approach it with fear and trepidation? The adversary knows when you’re scared. He’ll play games with you and tease you when he knows you’re uncertain and lack confidence. God did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind! Know that God is with you and will not leave you nor forsake you. When you have courage from God, you are merely operating in faith mode. Walk by faith and not by sight. No matter what it looks like, no matter what it smells like, no matter what it tastes like, no matter what it feels like, greater is He that is within you than He that is in the world! When you have courage from God, you, not of your own, will be able to come against all the Goliaths in your life. You may have darts thrown your way, but know that no weapon formed against you will prosper! You may get lied on, but persevere with courage. You may be unfairly ridiculed, but press on with courage. Doors may be closed in your face, but fight on with courage because in the end, you will have the victory. Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me more courage for the journey ahead so that I can continue faithfully until I’ve got the victory. Amen
