Tuesday-Good Morning! A Thought To Ponder: Standing Outside! Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him. an he with ME. (Rev. 3:20) A well known painter in his depiction of this verse, painted the outside of the door with no door handle on the outside of the door, which implied that the only door handle was on the inside of the door and must be opened from the inside. The door to our heart must be opened by each of us to JESUS CHRIST if HE is to enter our heart. This portrays well the picture of our society that dont want JESUS in their lives, as well as a multitude of individuals. If you notice closely the verse, you will see that HE knocks with HIS voice, calling through HIS Word for someone to open door of his heart that HE might enter into his heart. We sure need to close the door to the devil, our old ways and habits of sin, but open the door fully to The Blessed LORD JESUS CHRIST.
