Photo/NGANGA THAIRU A human skull with an apology note from a witch was found at a junction at Thakwa village, Kahuguiini sub location in Gatundu on Sunday. In the note the witch confessed wrecking the lives of many promising young men and breaking more than 40 homes with four accomplices who died. “I want to die in peace and seek forgiveness to all those I have wronged,” part of it read. Waweru Mbugua found the skull and alerted his father Harun Mbugua who informed the assistant chief, Peter Kimanga. Kimanga took the skull and the note to Gatundu police station. He later called a baraza at Kahuguiini playgrounds and read the confession. Several villagers told the Star that the situation in the village is dire, Kimanga saying that his first born son was one of the victims. “The boy started behaving in a queer manner while in form one and even after transferring him to two other schools and eventually taking him to a rehabilitation centre, he has never lived a normal life and he is now a total zombie,” he said. Virginia Wanjiku who received the witchs apology on phone the previous night said she had failed as a businesswoman for four years. “Thakwa has for years remained where it is and those lucky enough to get jobs do not keep them and those trying their hands in business do not succeeded and I pray for forgiveness to all those I have wronged, the message read. Pastors Daniel Gaiti and Abraham Mburu of Free Pentecostal Fellowship of Kenya and PCEA Rev Dr Wairi prayed for the villagers. - See more at: the-star.co.ke/news/gatundu-witch-leaves-apology-note-human-skull-wants-die-peace#sthash.zrQIgNXG.dpuf
