Tuesday, January 13: Disruption, interruption. We don’t like it. We see it as an inconvenience, a speed bump in the road of life. But what if we changed the way we thought, to see it as a blessing from the Lord? I have had a few disruptions the last few days. Last week, someone broke into our backyard and stole 2 of our show rabbits, the week before the show…..Today, there was a mean dog who somehow made his way into the back yard of our clinic. We had to call animal control…….my xray processor was on the fritz for a bit……a waiting room chair broke……Dane spilled water all over the floor…….all the lights burned out in the bathroom……Dane’s zipper on his coveralls broke…..you get the picture. But, this week I have just been ok with the disruption. God working the details, even with disruption. I know that because of his timing, His plan is fulfilled – even if I don’t see it today. So I have learned to put it in perspective. It is not earth altering, it is not life ending, it is not an impossibility. It’s just a disruption, that just might be a tremendous blessing….. “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into mans heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 So embrace the inconveniences of life……Glory to God……Sunday’s coming……….
