Tuesday, June 11 morning Dear parents and friends of the DR trip, We have had a wonderful few days. On Sunday we had a chance to attend the mountaintop Church. They were amazing hosts as they had us stay after the service in order to get to know the Dominican youth that attend the church. We played games together and had lunch; it was a great time of fellowship. Furthermore, it was a cultural experience that our students will not soon forget. On Monday we had a full day of work in the villages. We played hard with kids, mixed a lot of concrete, and saw a lot of patients in the medical clinic. Our students are phenomenal. This team continues to impress me in that they do all that is asked of them, are willing to serve the Dominicans, and are striving hard after the Lord. Please be in prayer for our day in the villages, as well as our share night tonight. This can be a very meaningful time for our team. Finally, please pray for our travels home; pray that we would have no problems with our flights; And pray that we would make it through customs without any hiccups. We are all excited to be home.
