Tuesday June 24th, 2014 There is no midday phase 3! Strength Program followers: YES! We are on a active rest block now! Many of you are crazy exercise addicts and you feel like the active rest applies to everyone else but not you...WRONG! It applies to everyone who has been following the strength program or any athlete that has been pushing hard for the last 6-8 weeks. Everyone needs active rest! You dont get stronger if you dont rest and you DO get injured if you dont rest.The goal is to rest BEFORE you are forced to take time off because of an injury. PLEASE BE SMART and TRUST YOUR COACHES! I will be watching! :) WOD: 4 rounds for time of: 50 squats 40 back extensions 30 push-ups Strength: Warm up for 7-10 minutes on a rowing machine or airdyne or combo then, 3 rounds NOT FOR TIME: (15 squats, 30 second paleo chair) x 3 10 supermans 10 banded good mornings 10 v-steps 10 supermans (10 push ups, rest 10 seconds, 30 second plank, rest 10 seconds) x 3 2-a-day: REST
