The family was very involved in civic matters in both politics and business, once holding a seat on the New York Stock Exchange through various brokerage firms including J.C. Dann & Co., Stevens, Dann & Co and Common, Dann & Co. The Danns were also very involved at Nichols School, and the ice rink is named after Websters Father, Radcliffe Dann. Webster loved this city, and has spent a lifetime preserving and collecting memorabilia that pertained to Buffalo history and his families roots. He resided in the city the majority of his life before moving into this ranch in the Town of Tonawanda. This special sale includes: A vast collection of vintage safes, early advertising pertaining to Buffalo landmarks and business, many rare local books on people, houses and business.
