Tuesday November 12, 2013 - an overcast day with threatening rain seems to be the order of the day. It is fall and we now are having the fall weather. Just as well to smile and accept it ! Good news for the Town of Trepassey made by Keith Hutchings this past weekend. We have received an extra $10,000 in funding to finish the Lower Coast Seawall project. This funding will allow the Town to reinforce the wall with more large rocks and hopefully avoid any more damages to the current seawall. It is greatly appreciated and we thank Mr. Hutchings for all the work he has done for the Town of Trepassey. We wish him all the best in his new cabinet posting as Fisheries Minister and look forward to working closely with the new Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Kent. Our happiness tip for this day is to watch or read a comedy show, remember the ones like I Love Lucy.... they will certainly bring a chuckle to you and a chuckle a day will keep gloominess away!
