Tuesday Prayer Dear Lord, today we acknowledge in this prayer; that on our own ,it is very difficult for us to make change in our hearts and part ways with evil deeds. The devil tries hard to convince us that if we turn to you, we lose friends and miss out on so much. Yet He is a big liar! Lord, thank you for giving us the chance to testify and prove to those whose time is bought by the devil, while they procrastinate on your word. We testify that there is a better life in Jesus. Yes Lord, today your word openly declares, Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Jesus Christ our King, we pray that today you help us with our transformation to move away from sin, repent and accept you as our personal saviour. Give us the strength to forgive ourselves for our past deeds. Your word tells us today, For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Lord today we pray for our youth, who seem to have been consumed by ways of this world. So much gun and knife crime among our children. There is so much disrespect of parents and elders. Please Father, help us fight the spirit of rebellion and suicide which now dwells among our children. May they our children see the light of Jesus at the end of the tunnel. Its only you Lord, who can lift us and strengthen us during our times of weakness. Amen. (Prayer based on Psalm 84:10 & Matthew 6:14-15)
