Tuesday Sonshine -LOVE YOUR ENEMIES...(Mt. 5: 43-48) Martin Luther King, Jr once said, “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend.” Ah, but I dont want my enemy to be my friend! Thats only natural but remember that before the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus and in our state of sin, we were Gods enemies. And what did he do? He sent his only Son...for you and I...His enemies... Saint Augustine once said, What is the perfection of love..Love your enemies in such a way that you would desire to make them your brothers. This is very hard but not impossible. You know in your heart that all things are possible for God, not man. So focus on the Lord Jesus today hanging on the cross, and in that loving gaze from his eyes, forgive your enemies. PRAYER -Jesus, I trust in you. Thank you for always forgiving me. Give me the grace to forgive all, especially my enemies. In your name...Amen.
