Fruit, steel cut oats, quinoa, sweet potatoes, and wild or brown rice are some of your best options. Avoid sugar and high fructose corn syrup at all costs. Also, timing is important. If youre trying to burn fat, then take in most of your carbs soon after your workout. Your ramped up metabolism will still be using fat for fuel, so you have the opportunity to load the carbs back into the muscle cells. Of course, that does mean you have to work out, haha.
