Tuesday is the BIG DAY!! 4 more days until our sweet boy comes home. After 199 days in the NICU he will be coming home where he belongs with his family. We have made some really great friends with the staff at CHOA and we appreciate all of you so much. We try to let all of them know personally, how much we care about him. Even when some of the nurses dont have him, they will check on him sometime during their shift. Coltons surgeon Dr Glasson has been amazing and she calls him her superstar! Ann Dean, which has been Coltons primary nurse has truly been a blessing to our family. When we could not be there and she was, we knew someone was there that loved him and would care for him so Ann we love you! We are so excited and stressed at the same time trying to get every little thing in order and in place for his arrival home. Haley is trying to get all of her last minute training in and trying to meet all of the nurses from the home health company plus travel back and forth to be with the baby in Atlanta. The Ronald McDonald house has been full for the last 3 weeks so they have been traveling back and forth and that is very stressful and expensive so if you dont mind say a little prayer for her and Derick. Ok I better run for now, have a wonderful day! Oh one more thing! A special thank you to Melony Bradley Hopper for making Colton this sweet Christmas ornament. Love you Melony!
