Tuki calls for better relations with Assam Ruksin ADC Hq inaugurates PASIGHAT, Jan 21: The Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has called for better relations with Assam. “People should maintain their best relationship with the people of neighboring Assam and no one should encourage the elements that spread hatred among the two sister states”, the CM said this today in Ruksin, a town sharing the boundaries with Assam. wpbff3f035_0f.jpg Meanwhile, continuing its efforts to bring the administration to the door steps of the people, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today inaugurated the ADC (Independent) headquarters at Ruksin in East Siang district amidst huge gathering. Addressing the public meeting after the inauguration of the headquarters, the Chief Minister said a long-felt demand of the people has been fulfilled with the upgradration of the Ruksin SDO headquarter to Independent ADC. Informing about Arunachal Vision-2030 Tuki said the document would encompass six broad areas -- enabling infrastructure, economic potential, social sectors, social harmony, border development and resource mobilization. It contains both long-term and medium-term strategies to accelerate the development process. “Three committees, namely, Cabinet Committee, a Committee of Secretaries and a Committee of Experts are being constituted to identify challenges, set targets and work out a detailed development strategy for the vision document. These committees will prepare a draft vision document within six months after consultations, field visits and also incorporating public opinion at the village, block, district and state level. The committees will also propose a comprehensive institutional mechanism to achieve the targets assigned in the vision document,” the Chief Minister added. The Chief Minister further informed the gathering that the present government under his leadership has made a paradigm shift in its strategy to promote tourism, education, health, hydropower, agriculture, horticulture, employment generation, sports and games etc. Stating that DMO Dr. D Bagra was the best in the state who implemented “Chief Minister Universal Health Insurance Scheme”, he advised the people to avail optimum benefits out of the schemes. For Ruksin area in particular, Tuki urged the people to donate lands to set up solar powerhouse so that Niglok Industrial Growth Center could be converted into productive and revenue generating and also fully functional to provide jobs to unemployed youths. While responding to the memorandum submitted by ZPM Toggeng Panyang, he assured to sanction 30 crores for renovation of MMR Road in addition to 2 crores for shortcut link road via Lingka village. The Chief Minister while instructing the administration to make a master plan of the Ruksin township area and make it a model ADC Headquarter has assured to provide 5 crores for construction of multistoried mini secretariat building and 80 Lakhs for teachers’ quarters in next financial year. He called upon the people to cooperate with the government in all developmental works and also avail the benefit being provided by government under various schemes. Earlier, Parliamentary secretary Tatung Jamoh, who is also local MLA of the area, expressed happiness as the dreams come true. Extending his gratitude to the CM, Jamoh said upgradation of the administration was very necessary to mitigate innumerable problems of people in getting PRC, ST certificate, photo ILP, Arm license etc. Among others, Health Minister Rajesh Tacho, Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering, MLA Kaling Moyong, DIG LH Shanliana, DC Nidhi Srivastava, SP Devendar Arya, ADC In-Charge T Pada (SDO), former Education Minister Bosiram Siram, ZPC Kaling Dai, CC Denong Tamuk and ZPMs of the areas were present on the occasion.
