#Tupac wasnt murdered by hip-hop ultras, record label owners, or even a random shooter. He was assassinated by the ruling authorities in America, for being too intelligent, free-thinking and influential among a demographic they believed needed to be kept subservient and oppressed. Here was a guy who was preaching about police brutality twenty years before #Ferguson. He spoke about institutional racism, gentrification, poverty and the deep-seated anger within the black communities of the #US - issues which are only now being seriously discussed on a global scale under the canvas of social media. He was decades before his time and was deemed a threat, so had to be eliminated.
