Turkey: Its not just for Thanksgiving anymore. Prophecy trends: Constantinople, Turkey became the eastern leg of the Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire, Daniel chap. 2). Despite being a NATO allie, the have returned to Muslim Influence in Government in the past few years. The seven churches Jesus addresses in Revelation Chap. 2-3 (end times revelation of Christ) are all in modern day Turkey. I believe Turkey is the key nation bringing Rome (the EU) and Islam (Islamic caliphate) together to become the end times beast (where anti-christ will emerge from). Western values and Islam working together would be a good representation of the feet of mixed iron & clay (Daniel 2) that make the final evil empire both strong and weak without mixing well. Christ, the Rock, destroys this mixed empire to establish eternal rulership of humanity. This video shows the anti-American sentiment that exists with our supposed allie Turkey, who refused to allow the US to use Turkish land in order to fight ISIS. The reasoning behind that is they oppose the Kurds and hope ISIS will decimate them. Everyone in the Middle East has their own angle on things and without really digging in to understand all the factions involved, it is impossible to understand how things may play out in this region. Turkey seems to be the one nation best able to unite Sunni & Shia factions of Islam as well the EU for common goals, such as opposing US intervention due to constant failures in the region, as well as opposing Israel. This alliance of nations from Spain to Pakistan would definitely be a world power that could not be ignored, would have immense control of global oil supplies (especially if they work with Russia- Ezekiel 38-39), and would likely replace the US as the United Nations military enforcement division. Wouldnt it be great to bring our troops home and let someone deal with the Middle East chaos? Well yes, until that coaltion begins telling the rest of the world, with UN backing, how the world should be run. The perfect set up for a new Messiah to emerge and bring a New World Order out of the chaos.
