Turkey had taken some refugees but has strict border security. Nobody in; nobody out. This is to prevent people from joining the terrorists also because they can only take so many in an humanitarian effort. This in itself is significant because Turkey doesnt like to get involved even on a humanitarian basis. Such is the precariousness of their own political situation.***Yesterday there was a significant struggle at the border w Syria and Turkish military helped secure the line. In the chaos some did try to slip in to escape hell on earth. Turkey tear gassed them along with the terrorists on their tales. A fraction probably did get in but mostly the line held. **Turkey government agreed to permit soldiers to cross the borders into other countries and hunt down ISIS. Praise God! Also they agreed to allow U.S. a base out of Turkey. This is very important strategically.** My husband was stationed in Korea in the 60s and got to know some Turkish military. According to him they are some of the worlds best gorilla fighters and trained Navy SEALS in some tactics and operational techniques. Booya! ** Isnt it awesome how God can use situations and people to bring about relief to his people? Although most Syrian refugees may be Muslim there are Christians and others mixed in this chaotic mess. As well the Iraqi refugees and those from other ME countries will benefit from these plans. May the Turks stay true to their agreements. Supposedly it is a creed of theirs that it is a sin to enter falsely into an agreement. So once in they are all in. They have not engaged in other than domestic defense and self preserving concerns since the Korean War and the training of our specialized fighters. **fyi: The Korean War was the first time Turkey ever fought on the same side with Greece.
