Turkish Government Demolished the Forest Area to Implement a New “Green” Project Dünyaya da Rezil Olduk be .... Turkish government, Prime Ministry Department and Ministry of Forestry made a decision 2 years ago to implement a new project on a forest area in Beykoz/Istanbul. Government authorities began to cut the trees in that region several months ago and hundred thousands of trees have been cut off so far. AKP government claim that they will create a new forest called “Beykoz City Forest” on that area. Furthermore parks, restaurants, sport areas and mosques will be built as a part of this new project. So, Turkish government cut off hundred thousands of trees in order to create a new forest. You can see how the appearance of the region has changed by checking the image.
