Turkish film Winter Sleep has won the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival 2014. Click through to see who else took home an award this year. Directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, the 3 hour and 16 minute psychological drama Winter Sleep stars EastEnders star Haluk Bilginer as Aydin, a wealthy retired actor who dreams of playing God in a remote community in rural Anatolia. The movie has been a critics favorite in the competition lineup. The 67th Cannes Film Festival wrapped up Saturday night. Julianne Moore won best actress for her performance in David Cronenberg’s dark Hollywood satire Maps to the Stars. Best actor went to Timothy Spall, who stars as British painter J.M.W. Turner in Mike Leighs biopic Mr. Turner. Bennett Miller won best director for his wresting drama Foxcatcher, The jury prize was shared by Xavier Dolans Mommy and Jean-Luc Godards Goodbye to Language.
