Turn On The Light! John 1:1-5 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 THE LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Fears are an indication that somewhere in your life you have a dark belief. Fears and worries are just like prayer and meditation, only in reverse. Youre just focused on and headed in the wrong direction. You cannot remove darkness and fears by cursing it: Darkness, I curse and bind you! Go away, in Jesus Name! Gods answer is so simple: Turn on the light! Jesus is the light of the world; Hes the light in your darkness. His word has something to say about your situation. Dont try to overcome whatever it is about which you are fearful or worried. Shine Gods light on it. Darkness flees when the light is turned on. Every time you go to church and hear anointed preaching, the light is turned on. You see something you never saw before. The light dawns! You have a new understanding. In the verse above it says, the darkness cannot comprehend it. That means the darkness is a presence; it can think; it can act. It wants you to feel powerless, alone and abandoned. But it has NO defense against the Light. Simply turning on THE LIGHT causes it to FLEE!!! So dont sit there afraid, lost and alone in the dark. Turn on THE LIGHT!
