Turn the pages of Magazines ( Time, The economist, MacLeans ...) you could read prescriptions,in their editorials and elsewhere, as to what to do about #Russia. In latest The Economist edition cover story is Russia, as usual since recent times, with the description Insatiable The story begins with confession, call for action and fear (insecurity) : The cost of stopping the Russian bear now is high - but it will only get higher if the west does nothing In the end it has proposals ( or prescription rather) to stop Russia: ...France should cancel the sale of warships to #Russia [China could smile]. A more devastating punishment would be to cut Russia off from dollars, euros and sterling. Let us assume all that can be done easily. my question is what if it does not effect the desired result which is stopping Russia? Mind you stopping Russia is used in reference to the challenge , as things stand now, in Donestk and Slovienetk by pro-Russian protesters, not Russia itself
