Turning into a night owl....starting to burn the beyond midnight oil doing work. Hmmmm, must break the cycle. It reminds me of the 20-year old me who did her most creative thinking in the late or early morning hours. December 3 was my mothers birthday. She would have been 74. She was such a beautiful spirit. The best mom ever, remembering all of her nieces and nephews on their birthdays. Making sure that she personalized my birthdays and my brothers birthdays, always making me a new outfit to wear and baking our favorite treats. I remember my friends loved to come to dinner because you never knew when my mom would pop a sweet potato pie in the oven. Maybe thats why Im up... thinking about Mom. Whatever the case, just want to say Happy Birthday Mom. I love you. Rest in peace Loretta Flanagan.
