Turns out the surgery itself is the easiest part... post surgery care & recovery is challenging. Force feeding a scared rodent is not fun for anybody....poor Lily... scared and groggy from all the medication developed bed sores and now is even more scared to move with her little feet bandaged :( Vet added some stronger pain meds (that require injections!) and an antacid to her pharmacy set. Hang in there little girl...
