Twas the Saturday before Christmas, and what little Christmas - TopicsExpress

Twas the Saturday before Christmas, and what little Christmas Spirit I had left, was finally sucked out of me yesterday... I was in the local Supermarket experiencing the yearly scene of the rancid hoards of local locust going through the shelves; it was a depressing sight to behold I did experienced one little moment of joy though, as I heard one little boy... the size of maybe a 6 or 7 year old, tell his Mum, that it was okay, and that he would go and weigh and price the bag of Oranges he had in his hand... Alas, he strode of to the weighing and Label machine; with me in tow, to weigh my Bananas... he waited patiently... I was behind him... until he was next. He was just about to place his Bag on the scales when some wretched woman pushed in front and placed her Passion Fruits (Irony right there) on the scales.... oh my. Game on. I leant over the boy, picked up her bag and tossed in on the side... and told her, Stop! This young man is next, then me...and then the others behind me. Happy Christmas.. Her face was a picture. she left the Bag of Fruits and walked off. The smile of gratitude from the little boy was enough for me realise that not all is lost with humanity. Heres Greg, to put it better than I... youtu.be/JPm6CheT6rs
