Twas the day after Christmas....... Seems like all those tiny little weld jobs, grind jobs, cleaning jobs never end! You do one and 20 more appear that need addressing, and all so I can get the underside sorted and ready to be treated! Well, eventually I addressed all issues on the bottom of the car, internally and externally and set about prepping for the treatment. Turned over in the rotisserie it was given a final blast with the wire brush then a throughout degreasing. After this it was scrubbed with warm soapy water and then rinsed with clean water, allowed to dry then the Deox Gel was applied, thatll lift any remaining live rust and bring the metal back to the shiney stuff! Shes wrapped up in cling film for the night; the rust treatment has to be left in place for 12 hours+, so, well take a peak tomorrow and see how she goes.......
