Twenty Days of Thanksgiving, Day 8: I have to give thanks for Dr. Richard Allen Farmer of Dallas, a brilliant theologian, captivating musician, inspiring disciple of God and a man I am humbled to call my friend. My in-laws made me aware of Dr. Farmer several years ago when they brought Bewee and me to hear him preach and perform (hes a concert level pianist) at Gull Lake Ministries near Kalamazoo; since then he has played an instrumental part in the deepening of my faith and my understanding of Gods word. It was not by accident that this warm, witty man came into my life. Today is Richards birthday, and I think you should click onto the new website Karen and I are busily trying to complete on his behalf (richardallenfarmer) and send him birthday greetings. When we get the Store section finished (believe me, well let you know!) I hope youll return and purchase a CD or DVD. You will NOT be disappointed!
