Twenty four Members of us from The National Assembly from various political alignations within Coast Region have today had a four hour dialogue meeting at State House Nairobi with the president. Key agenda was security. We have expressed our concern that the security of this country needs to be overhauled. Whilst he restructures the same we as M.Ps shall be at liberty to exercise our mandate as enshrined in the constitution and that is to institute impeachment motions on those we feel are not delivering right services to the people. There are indications that violence may erupt in other areas of the region and as such we have agreed to collectively go to the grassroots with him as in charge of the executive to address these issues before its too late. This shall be done across all counties within Coast Region. Security of our people and their concern is our principle priority regardless of our political differences.
