Twenty one (21) school children lost their lives in India through school feeding program and I am just hoping we are as a country paying attention to the cause in order that we take the necessary precautionary steps to avert such occurrence in Ghana. Coincidentally during the course of the week I heard caterers under the Ghana program legitimately complain about the insignificant increase in their daily feeding rate from forty pesewas (40p) to fifty pesewas per day. My view is that these rates are economically unrealistic and ridiculous to say the least, and ought to be further reviewed upward if we are to guard against the calamity that be felled a similar program in India. If the program is worth pursuing it must be done and done well
