Twenty-one years ago this evening I came into the Catholic Church. I knew next to nothing having been in RCIA for a couple years, but I digress. Thanks be to God for the grace to give me a desire to study and learn. From going to Mass in shorts and tee shirt to as dressy as I can manage.....for Bible studies that gave me what I needed when I needed it and giving me a hunger to know.....from ordinary form to extraordinary form.....thanks to solid priests who spoke the truth in love even when it might have hurt to hear it. Thanks to Jesus and Mary who were patient with their tiny servant. Thanks to God for prompting me to pray the rosary when I came across it one night on channel 49, but knew little about it. Thanks to the Holy Ghost for prompting me to go to confession more often even though I was taught it wasnt terribly important. Thanks to the priests who helped lead our family in places we never dreamed. There but for the grace of God go I. Forever thankful for the great gifts, mysteries, and traditions of Holy Mother Church!
