Twice a year the length of daylight and night are approximately equal, and this time is called the Equinox. The Autumnal Equinox arrives on September 23rd, marking the ending of the Summer; a shift which to those who live in Southern California can be less than obvious. The more that we pay attention to the natural cycles of our planet as we move through the year, the more that we can be aware of our own personal cycles. In order to have direction and avoid stagnancy, we can focus our intent to be in alignment at these times, and to start the new quarter in the clearest possible way.
