Twisted Justice...why does it seem as though the people that mean us no good are getting away with their prideful acts. Boasting and flaunting in what appears to be wrong. Yet we are left holding the bag of mess that they have created, never fully realizing how bad it is until after they are gone. Praying earnestly for God to help us from becoming bitter and turning back to a mindset that we have buried long ago. Yet as we pray they become more and more prideful. In our hearts we are asking why; why does this feel so unfair? Looking to God for answers to a problem that appears unsolvable. One that in all honesty looks like and feels like twisted justice. That for every step of trust we take towards doing what is right, they counter with taking greater steps to do what is wrong. Making us feel as though we are losing, and they are winning. But are they really? Is this really about them, or is God more concerned about us and how we are going to handle it? That is the greater battle...the one to defeat ourselves from becoming so emotionally tied to people that we should have let go the instant God revealed their heart; as that was the miracle in it all. So what do we do? In some circumstances we simply have to see people for who they are, not for what we desire or hope for them to become. We can only pray that they will get the lesson God is trying to teach them, the same way He taught us before it is to late. Because justice is really not twisted, process just has not taken place yet, but trust it will in due time. - Coach Mason Psalms 10:1-4, 11, 13, 16-17 NLT O LORD, why do you stand so far away? Why do you hide when I am in trouble? The wicked arrogantly hunt down the poor. Let them be caught in the evil they plan for others. For they brag about their evil desires; they praise the greedy and curse the LORD. The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. The wicked think, “God isn’t watching us! He has closed his eyes and won’t even see what we do!” Why do the wicked get away with despising God? They think, “God will never call us to account.” The LORD is king forever and ever! The godless nations will vanish from the land. LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.
