It’s a kind of hall of fame.” Son of a government employee, Yasir said that he along with Asif Showkat Wani is the first from the Valley to be listed in the Adobe security acknowledgement list. Asif, 17, hails from Srinagar and has also been listed in the security acknowledgement list. He is a school going boy. “The person whom I had submitted my vulnerability had offered us a job in Adobe also. But later we decided that after completing our education we will look forward to working with them. They have promised us of setting up a team in India for Adobe” he said. Adobe in its website has said “Adobe encourages the responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities through the Product Security Incident Response Team web form. Adobe would like to thank the following individuals and organizations for responsibly disclosing a security vulnerability in an Adobe online service or hosted product, and for working with Adobe to help protect our customers”.
