Two Killed in Assam Firing As was feared, the Bodoland Territorial Autonomous Districts (BTAD) witnessed incidents of violence on the day of counting yesterday, in which two persons were killed and three others, including a minor sustained bullet injury. The incidents were reported from Chirang and Kokrajhar districts. Two persons were killed in firing by security forces when a mob attacked the police outpost at Panbari under Bijni PS in Chirang district around 5 pm yesterday as a reaction to an incident in which a youth was injured by a bullet shot by a team of security forces who conducted operation against militants in Natunmati area near Panbari earlier around 3 pm.
