Two Marcy-Holmes items of interest in City Councils Zoning & Planning Committee meeting this morning at 9:30am (watch on Minneapolis 79: ci.minneapolis.mn.us/tv/79) 1. Marcy Holmes Neighborhood Master Plan and Dinkytown Business District Plan is under discussion. The goal is to approve the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Master Plan and Dinkytown Business District Plan and to amend the policy guidance for the area into the City’s comprehensive plan. 2. In the consent agenda, there is a petition filed by Mary Novak, with Project for Pride in Living, on behalf of Riverton Community Housing, to rezone the properties located at 1227 4th St SE and 425 13th Ave SE from the R5 Multiple-family District to the OR3 High Institutional Office Residence District, to allow for construction of a new 66-unit residential building with ground floor commercial space.
