Two Oregon Student Association staff hires in two days! We are pleased to announced that Brittany Macpherson will be joining the OSA team as the Lane Community College Campus Organizer! Brittany comes to OSA from Arizona, where she recently graduated from Arizona State University. While attending school, Brittany was involved in the Arizona Students’ Association as a student and also as a part-time campus organizer, where she worked to recruit and develop students on ASU Glendale Campus for electoral and legislative work in the Capitol. Before that experience Brittany worked as a Legislative Intern for ASA and also served as a field manager during their campaign to put the Quality Education and Jobs act on the ballot as Prop 204 this past November. Brittany also has extensive experience working at a community college. While attending Glendale Community College, Brittany served as student body president, representing more than 30,000 students. During that time Brittany successfully organized a campaign to prevent a $2 tuition increase across their district. We are very excited to bring her onto the team and know that these experiences will translate well in Oregon and at LCC.
