Two Palestinian boys, brutally arrested by Israeli forces in #Hebron 23/09/2014 Today at Qeitun checkpoint clashes errupted between unarmed Palestinian youth and Israeli forces, excessive amounts of tear gas was used, rubber coated steel bullets and stun grenades. There were many small children present trying to pass through the checkpoint as the clashes remained ongoing some of the children were around the age of 8 years old. A small group of older boys were throwing stones but they did not manage to reach the Israeli forces but the commander insisted upon firing no matter who was caught up inbetween. Later on their was an ambush by Israeli forces when they appeared between the cross road of the street, grenades were thrown to confuse the situation as the two Palestinian boys were brutally grabbed and arrested between the ages of 14 and 15 years old. One of the boys whilst in a headlock and handcuffed was punched several times in the side. International Solidarity Activists ran up to ask the boys their names and correct ages but the Israeli forces were very hostile and one of the boys was in a headlock while handcuffed so could not answer, they were both forced through the turnstiles and they were kept at the checkpoint for a few minutes before Israeli forces marched them to the police station near the Ibrahimi mosque.
