Two Suspects Are Arrested in May Clovis Home Invasion Robbery Clovis Police, late yesterday and this morning, arrested two men in connection with the home invasion robbery that occurred on May 5th in the 900 block of N. Shirley Avenue (near Fowler and Alluvial). Clovis detectives tracked down one of the robbers in Grover Beach (between Arroyo Grande and Pismo Beach) last night. Clovis Police investigators arrested the second suspect in Clovis this morning. In custody are 27-year-old James Xiong, located at the coast, and 25-year-old Chue Fue Yang of Fresno. As you may recall, the victims told officers that someone knocked on their front door asking for someone who didn’t live there. One man with a gun gained entry into the house, while another got inside through a different entrance. Two of the three residents were tied up, one with a dog leash and one with a computer cable. Both were able to free themselves. No one was hurt. During the robbery, the two suspects took valuable property from the house. Some of this property was located in the suspect’s apartment in Grover Beach. Both suspects are being held in the Fresno County Jail.
