Two Sylvania Franciscans Sisters who entered the convent from SS. Peter and Paul parish recently celebrated anniversaries of religious life. Sister Eleanore Furman, who entered the convent in 1949 and professed her final vows in 1956, recently celebrated her 60th jubilee. Sister Eleanore spent most of her career teaching and serving as a principal at schools in Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio. She taught at Saints Peter and Paul from 1967 to 1970. Sister M. Josina Antolak, who joined the Sylvania Franciscans in 1957 and professed her final vows in 1968, recently celebrated her 50th jubilee. Sister Josina taught at schools in Michigan and Ohio and is currently involved in a variety of community service projects in the Toledo area.
