Two Wheels Across is a GO! I left Cape Town this morning, with a heavy heart, because it is a place I truly cherish, for so many reason, not the least of which is my dear friends there. But i am also filled with excitement and anticipation! Today I head east to Stellenbosch, Western Cape, with a stop at Donford Motorrad BMW, last minute work on Umfufu, my bike. She needs and deserves all the care and attention in the world because without her, I will not get very far! Donford have been amazing and repaired my Umfufu to perfection after the accident I had in November. she is now ready to go! Next I will be heading to Oudtshoorn, Western Cape, largest town in the Little Karoo region. The town is home to the worlds largest ostrich population. I will stay on the bottom part of South Africa, as I make my way east, passing by places such as Coffee Bay, Durban, Saint Lucia.... up to the border of Swaziland where I will spend a couple of days, before exiting on the northern border into Sabi Sands for a Safari :). and THEN..... it will be time to cross into Mozambique ! I will be camping sometimes, staying in guesthouses and B&Bs other times.. and a few days here and there, I will be staying in amazing properties, courtesy of my Adventure Partner, Rhino Africa !
