Two ambulances given for relief project NEW PORT RICHEY — Two TransCare ambulances were donated Friday to Guyana Development Mission International, an international relief organization created by Pasco Sheriffs Office Sgt. Mike Mielke. The ambulances will help provide critical emergency medical services and to establish an emergency response system in British Guyana. Pasco County Fire Rescue, Pasco Sheriffs Office, Wilderness Lake Church, Crocketts Towing and Scaife Enterprises have provided support in refurbishing, stocking, and transporting the vehicles. The vehicles are bound for Mercy Hospital and Banks, DIH in Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
