Two bad things occur this morning, as the Herald Suns coverage of the MH17 tragedy/crime falls below 10 pages for the first time: - the terrible grief of the parents of the Maslin children is front-page + spill. It contrasts with the news silence on the deaths of children in Palestine and our locking up of kids in foreign-located concentration camps. However, in commentary, the dreadful Bolt alleges celebration of dead Palestinian children for political purposes: The Hamas Islamists who run Gaza love dead children. Decency overboard, yet again - it appears that even in his role of Mourner-in-Chief that Mr Abbott cant help but over-reach to play politics. I havent heard/seen any evidence for a few days that any bodies remain in the Ukrainian countryside. So why did the PM yesterday raise the spectre of loved ones concern about bodies remaining in the open and being interfered with? Whose life or death could be enhanced by such a tacky comment?
