Two beloved members of The Northwest School community, Mark and Catherine Terry, announced last week they are going to take the big step and retire this summer (2015). This is momentous news for us as a community and a school, particularly for NWS Alumni who have experienced their tremendous contributions directly. The Terrys have been a part of the heart and soul of our community for 35 years, and Mark’s retirement will mark the departure of our third and last co-founder. “It’s safe to say the school has been a LARGE part of our family’s life,” says Mark. “It has been a grand run, and seems like a fine time to depart. When we realized that this school year matches the school’s address, 1415, we figured this must be it.” We will be celebrating the Terrys’ contributions to the school in the months to come, so stay tuned!
