Two cyber crooks held for tormenting women HYDERABAD: Police have arrested two techies for tormenting women by sending obscene emails to their friends and relatives. Cyberabad police arrested N Naveen Babu, a former employee of Halcrow Consulting India Pvt Limited in Jubilee Hills. Naveen had been harassing his former colleague by creating a fake Facebook profile in her name and also by sending emails and SMSs to the victims friends in her name. Apart from torturing the victim through fake mails and Facebook profile, Naveen also demanded Rs 1 lakh from her to stop the obscene campaign. Based on a complaint lodged by the victim, Cyberabad police registered a case under the IT Act on May 14 and arrested Naveen at Madhapur when he came there to meet her to collect money on Wednesday. Similarly, the Central Crime Station (CCS) police of Hyderabad arrested P Rajesh Kumar of Nirmal for harassing his former classmate, who did not want to marry him. Rajesh created a fake email ID in the name of the victim and started sending emails to her relatives and friends with obscene content. Police arrested Rajesh from the city when he came here on Wednesday to meet the victim.
